Kibbeh pronounced kibbe, kebbah, kubbeh, kubbah or kubbi depending on region, and known in Egypt as kobeiba and in Turkey as içli köfte) is a Levantine dish made of bulgur (cracked wheat), minced onions, and finely ground lean beef, lamb, goat, or camel meat with Middle Eastern spices (cinnamon, nutmeg, clove, allspice).
Your guide on this masterclass will be Executive Chef David Jones and our head of Kibeh production for the Arabica Food & Spice Company.
We'll kick things off at The Cookhouse which overlooks the buzzing Market, where you will learn Arabica secrets to making a variety of fried and baked kibeh from scratch featuring some of Arabica's larder essentials.
The day concludes with us enjoying the kibehh you’ve made with a crunchy fattoush salad. Then we'll wander over to Arabica Bar & kitchen for some baklava pastries washed down with a cold beer, a delicious homemade Lebanese lemonade, a glass of wine or mint tea.
